Summary:
Reporting to the Customer Service Director, as the Business Analyst-MRO,
you will assure that customer requirements are satisfied at maximum
profitability to the company and subject to company policies, plans and
strategies. You will also provide visibility to Customer Services (CS)
& client SBUs (Strategic Business Units) management teams on key cost
driver and margin trends by value stream, platform, and part number.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Customer Services Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO)
business as follows: 1) Annual contract & pricing loading into SAP; 2)
Spare parts price reviews; 3) Business analytics as required (margin,
cost, pricing, volume by part number analyses); 4) Provides critical
feedback to SBUs (margin, 100 off list and pricing), and 5) Strong cross
team co-ordination with Enterprise Aftermarket Services team (contracts,
pricing and cost)
- Participate in cross-SBU lean events to understand competitive market
pricing points, enterprise margin capacity, and implement LWW (Lean
Waste Way)product transfers; develop and enhance tool set for pricing
and costing
- Evaluate and establish cost / price estimates for proposal submittals
- Assist CSR (Customer Service Representative) team with various
customer issues (pricing, contracts interpretation and assist in
training)as required
- Provide recommendations for terms and conditions requirements to
senior management
- Participate on special projects as assigned
- Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the EHS policy and
management system, the importance of conforming with EHS policies and
procedures, and consequences of failing to comply with EHS policies and
procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of EHS risks and impacts of work
activities and the benefits of improving EHS performance. Acquire
necessary EHS competencies in accordance with EH&S-MS002, EHS
Competencies & Training policy/procedure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing or related field or five (5)
years of relevant experience in lieu of education
- Two (2) to four (4) years experience in a business to business sales,
finance and/or marketing environment
- Minimum 2 years experience in finance (i.e. costing)
- Strong demonstrated experience in an aircraft manufacturing OEM/MRO
environment is strongly preferred
- Strong demonstrated experience analyzing, extracting, and summarizing
market data preferred
- SAP reporting experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to work simultaneously on and manage multiple projects with
changing priorities
- Must be able to work effectively with internal and external customers
with a high degree of political savvy
- Ability to work with uncertainty and ambiguity
- Ability to capture, manipulate and interpret relevant market data with
a close attention to detail
- Demonstrated strength in the use of Microsoft Office software,
specifically Excel and Access
